Vanilla moose or #81 HP?

I want to pick up a new glaze type product to go with s100 and NXT. Which one of these should I go with? Compare, ease of use in application and buffing, looks. . . my car is white so I try to get a really WET look. How about compatability with s100 and NXT.

Chant with me:

moose, moose, Moose, Moose, MOOSE, MOOSE!

I have no idea about #81, but VM adds a DEEP wet look on white and goes very well under (my experience) EX, S100, NXT, and #16.

To sweeten the deal, you can use the stuff on just about everything outside the car above the wheelwells!

Yep. There is also a place online that sells Poorboys AND Clearkote but I can't remember which one:(

Don't be disappointed when it arrives, btw. It doesn't smell like vanilla anymore--something about the vanilla smell eating through the bottles!

Check out specialtymotoring.com. They sell both Poorboy's and ClearKotes.

Great service and fast shipping. Items were packaged nicely.

Thinksnow assist to...and Pakshak through the legs, windmill, windmill and shatters the backboard!

I have gone from AIO to VM and #81 to S100, and I saw no discernable difference between just AIO to S100 on white. Just my observations from detailing my white car (beater) and customers as well.

I recently used both and I'd give the edge to Clearkote's VM Hand Glaze. Removal of VM-hand glaze was a a bit easier than Meg's 81 HP...both left the finish looking very wet.

I also used American Shine's California Clear Coat and liked that one the best for my black cars...

Nonetheless...all great products.

I'd go with VM also. Nothing against #81, it is a great product and looks very wet but VM has just as wet a look to me and leaves the paint very slick instead of squeaky smooth.

Chris Y. is right about American Shine's CCC-stunning on black.

I went from #7 and #26... to VM and S100 on white. VM made car VERY white. (Scott's suggestion to one of my posts: VM with EX.) I like carnuaba waxes.

:)

If ease of application is #1 then vm is much easier than to use than #81. not that #81 is hard but vm is so easy to work with. And it probably has a slight edge in looks also.JMO

Ok thanks, I will probably go with VM. I would like a product that is as easy to use as S100 SEC. Is Clearkote located at any Car specialty stores in NJ?

Is VM wetter than SEC? Does VM have a lot of abrasives? Can it be used say once a month without problems?

See, I can see a discnerable, not huge but I can tell, difference between S100 SEC + Wax on my white car and just Wax. On paint in good condition too, the SEC + Wax has more pop than just wax.

I'd give a slight edge in "wetness" to VM. It does have abrasives, but they are so mild that I wouldn't worry about it. If nobody told you, and you only used it on b/c paint, you might not even realize that it's abrasive.

BTW, in a pinch, you can use VM as a one step glaze/wax too. I just QEW-ed and VM-ed 4 cars today that had light tar overspray on them and not only did the VM remove it with ease, but left the paint on all 4 vehicles slick and glossy.

It has protection in it too?:up What some carnauba? I will have to add to cart.

Scott, would this combo work without bonding problems:

AIO

VM

NXT

? Any comment on how this would work/look?

I'd use either AIO or VM since neither is particularly aggressive. Both work well under NXT.
