Vacuum Suggestions

Order placed for the Autobahn.

In comparison to the Tornado, the Autobahn features -
Higher amperage motor, same CFM, better warranty.


Should work well in conjunction with my Rigid wet/dry vac.
 
I`ve had my rigid vac for going on 9 years in December (got it when I got married) and that thing is bullet proof. I`m actually really surprised it has lasted this long. For my 5 yr anniversary at work I got to pick a "prize" out of a catalogue, and the only thing they had that I could use was a shop vac so I got that. It was a 5gal stainless model, don`t remember the exact model, but I though it was going to replace the old rigid but it didn`t have nearly the amount of power that the rigid has. I ended up giving it to my brother.

So as far as wall mounts go..
I take it the better performing one of the vacumaid garage vac pro50?
And the autobahn over the taskforce only due to warrenty?
 
You can but a remote outlet switch to turn any outlet or powered unit into a remote unit.

works great, I use it for my twin 5000 lumen detailing lights I picked up from Rural King online. They show everything. They came with plugs, not to be hard wired. works like a charm.

Let me rephrase that. Is there any wet/dry vacs that are similar quality to Metro or Autobahn? I have the remote plugs on my woodworking dust collection system and an air filter and they work well. Rated at 15 amps and usually under $20 at Ace. What I`m looking for is a vac that is easily converted from dry to wet as I use it to clear up melted snow and rain build up from the cars. My garage is heated so any snow becomes a big mess pretty quickly. Would prefer wall mounted but would settle for a stainless on wheels if it had the right hose and power. Just not thrilled with the Shop Vac offerings and looking for other options. Budget is around $300.

I have the same vacuum. It works fantastic. I recently upgraded to the Bissell Garage Pro. But I still have my Craftsman.
