UV protection for my spray-in bedliner?

I just got a spray-in bedliner done on my truck and was wondering if there was any products that will provide UV protection so it doesn't fade? I plan to buy a soft brush to clean it with regularly too...I can just use my Poorboys car wash soap and water on it, correct?

Thanks!

The car wash soap should be good for washing. For UV protection I would use VRT or 303 protectant. This is assuming that it's like most spray-on bedliners and rubber based. If it's not rubber based you might want to consult the place that did it to see what they reccomend.

I woudl go with VRT. It claims that it has 65 spf protection. I think 303 only has 40 spf.

First of all there is no "SPF" in any product ..."SPF" is a scale, it's based on the ingredients in a skin care product that "MAY" help slow down the burning of SKIN not rubber....maximum protection on skin is hours, not days or weeks...

As for maintaining the spray-on bed liner, many people have used Natural Look which will keep it new looking and it will also help prevent mold with the biocides we use in the formula.

So theres really nothing you can do to protect it...like keep it from fading rather than covering it up when it does fade?

Basically so, if you treat it on a regular basis, sort of like waxing on a regular basis, you never really need to see it fade. Many people take care of almost anything durable with vigor and many years later that item will still look great.
This goes for cars, toys, furniture, or almost anything:)
