USPS - UK (delivery woe)

Me three!! Waiting on 2 Autopia orders - first over 2 weeks old now...



Saying that I'm also waiting on some bumpers from Leicester and that's close to a week ago.

Just received some pads this morning from Detailers Paradise. I ordered those last Thursday - so something seems strange about these Autopia orders that keep getting delayed.



Just sit tight and wait I suppose?
 
The Detailers Paradise foam pad orders come by Global Priority Mail because they are so light. This only takes a maximum of 3-4 days. Anything with a bottle or tin in it is going to come via Airmail which takes as long as 1 month.

I'm currenty awaiting an order from Autopia as well posted on the 1 March
 
from what I gather theres been some kind of tightening on items with any kind of distillates being shipped. Even if not flammable etc, if it's got a solvent type chemical in it we may encounter probs. I've been finding it more of late, with shipments meant to be taking 4-5 days taking up to around three weeks.

I was thinking of going over to TNT for some shipping but they wanted samples and meetings to discuss products being shipped, even for car cleaning stuff that may contain some kind of chemical or another..... I'm getting more questions from Fed- Ex if I want to make a shipment, and USPS, which I've never had a problem with, I'm finding stuff getting stopped and held in customs for no apparent reason even though I have various codes etc so that they can look up the company and assign any charges quickly and directly.

Maybe I'm just having a bad run but I've been noticing this more frequently over the last year.

Mine was posted on the 2 March - looks like we're both in the same situation. That puts my mind at rest a little, knowing that I'm not the only one! :)
 
5 weeks now!



I've emailed Autopia a couple of times in the last 10 days but had no reply - funny thing happened last night though. I checked my emails and a repeat email came through from Autopia confirming that my "order was packaged and on it's way". Anyone else had this happen?



I'm presuming the situation has been looked into by DavidB and he's resent the order. I could be wrong. I'll just sit tight and carry on waiting I suppose.
 
Not had mine yet BUT David's been running the show by himself so things got a little hectic for him. Both my orders are en route so we'll just have to wait & see.
