Used SSR1 on finishing pad... bad to use for wax now?

So, yeah... n00bie me... I was thinking "I've AIO and Zaino, and even if I do get some pastes, I'll just use em by hand". So thinking I had no use for my black finishing pad I tossed some SSR1 on there to see what it would do to my windshield (nothing btw). Is it bad to use that for wax now? Or is SSR1 mild enough that any residue would have no noticeable negative effect while using with a wax?

I would wash it SEVERAL times before using it as a finishing pad again.



SSR1 tends to break down and wash out pretty well, but for the safest and most piece of mind, I'd let it be a polishing pad from now on.
