Use the new Lake Country Pad Washer Today!

I think guys seem excited about the results but the reality is that this system is overkill for everyone but those that have a LOT of dirty pads daily. I got the yellow pad cleaning brush from autogeek and the dp citrus pad rejuvenator, and I can't tell you how great the results are for waaay cheaper than this system (not to mention less storage space required). The results are equally dramatic, with old dirty pads being restored to like new...however in the pic I saw on the last page with a before/after, the middle of that pad looked a little torn up..not the case with the brush...and I can certainly clean a fully caked pad back to perfectly clean in a lot less than 5 minutes per pad..not sure if this system really takes that long or not.

I feel you are wrong. If you are doing any detailing your time should be important and most of the time, time = money. It is taking you 5 minutes per pad where this machine takes 30 seconds TOPS. If I am doing a 3 step polish, all with the same pad I can clean it between polishes in no time, and it would take 15 minutes your way. Heck, with this machine you can afford to clean your pads several times to to always be using a clean pad if you wanted. To say it is overkill for "everyone" is extreme. Try it and you will see for yourself. You can not become an expert or even give an educational response without physically using one and just watching a 20 second video. ;)

Mine arrived yesterday. So today I cleaned about 6 pads from the last 2 days in less then 10 mins. Makes the wool pads like new.

Look closely: that pad was roughed up and packed with product before it was run through the machine

These pad cleaning systems are quite nice. Had the occasion to demo one a long time ago and they are very efficient.

Another point that people don't mention is that they keep the mess to a minimum. Spurring/brushing a pad leaves dust and lint (wool) everywhere. This bucket contains the product and the mess.
