Use Leaf Blower for Drying?

After washing, I would like to speed-up the drying process without damaging my paint. I'm not looking for perfection.



Is there any harm in using a low-powered leaf blower to do the job quickly?



Expert opinions (and others, Ha!) would be welcomed.

There is a thread concerning the perfect drying technique by CARGUY...Do a quick search as there are many opinions in there.



I for one use a leaf blower but I have a large truck..
 
I use an electric leaf blower, because it has a filter. The reason I like it is because it blows water out of hard it get to places like mirrows, gas doors,under the hood, tires and wheels etc. I don't think I save much time, but I dirty fewer towels. I still wipe down with a damp mf.



BTW: my leaf blower is a vac attachment type. I already have the vac out so I might as well take advantage of the blower.

I use a combination of a leaf blower, air compressor, canned compressed air, and MF towels to dry. Method is 100% safe and works quite well.



remember those days when you went to the automatic car wash (drive thru)?? at the end, what did they use?? blowers. to dry the car off. same principle here.
 
I have been using a leaf blower for a while now after some great tips from the forum.



I then follow up with an Absorber and a MF towel....

yep - just realize there's nothing wrong with you when the neighbors give you those strange looks like, "WTH is this guy doing??" ;) :p
