use 303 or OPP

Looking at buying one of these two products and was wondering what the difference is or are they pretty much the same thing. I'll be using them on the interior of my car/trucks.

I have used both, and they are great products. Sometimes I would get minor streaking with 303 and the surface treated with 303 was a little bit on the greasy/shiny side.

I prefer OPP because the sheen is very natural and the smell is a very light leather scent. I also notice OPP is easier to apply without any streaking by either 1) spraying onto the surface and wiping off with MF; or 2) spraying into an applicator and applying to the surface.

Here is a link to some pics with OPP in my Click and Brag.... http://www.autopia.org/forum/click-brag/105859-1st-c-b-my-ls460-1-year-mark.html

Good luck!

303 for me. It doesn't make anything greasy or shiny, that's one of it's best qualities. If you spray it on and wipe, and then after you wipe switch to a clean side of the towel or another towel and BUFF the surface lightly, there's no greasy feeling and it's not shiny. It just makes it nice a clean, and it stays that way for well over a week. It doesn't attract dust like other products. I'd never use anything else. If you think 303 is greasy, go use Armor All... because THAT is what a greasy dressing feels like.

haven't used armor all in years because of the high sheen and greasy feeling. 303 and opp can be had locally. my friends shop sells opp so maybe he'll let me try it before i buy.

You should try both and decide for yourself. The good thing about OPP is that you don't need to turn to a dry side of the MF to buff off like the other poster mentioned he does with 303.

What retailers sell OPP? Any chains?

I have both. Does anyone know which will protect the longest?

I have both OPP and 303, along with Einzsett Cockpit, they are all great you can't go wrong, but the OPP in my testing is the most durable, I use it for exterior too and it lasts noticeably longer in wet weather.

Also, no second wipe required with OPP, once on that's it, unlike 303 which does requires a second wipe to even out the look at times.

I thought I read somewheres on here of misting a mf with distilled h2o then spraying 303 on the mf and applying that way. I have to try that yet. Overall I've been happy with 303, great all around product.
