US Flex 3401 on 240v??

I currently have a PC 1224 which I use in Australia (240v) with a 100VA step down tranny. This works well.



I'm now considering a Flex 3401. Now sourcing one from the US (even with bad FX rates) will cost me nearly half what a 240V version would.



Does anyone use one with a step down tranny?
 
it should work just fine

as long as your transformer can handle the amp load of the flex

it is 7.5 amp, and the PC is only 3.7
