UPP topped with Signature Series?

Anybody have any experience with this combo? I'm going to be doing this tomorrow to my Machine Silver Metallic Corvette and was wondering if anybody had any reason to advise against doing so. I have never topped UPP in the past, but have some Sig. I need to get rid of. Thanks.

Nice combo for silver.

I don't top UPP much either but Signature complements it nicely on lighter metallics. Doesn't affect the slickness too much either.

Some waxes will negatively affect UPP's superior slickness, but I doubt Signature would be one of them. Paste Glaz, Nattys, and Nattys blue all retain the slickness very well. #16 took away some of the slickness when I applied it over UPP.

Other than that, I don't have any reasons not to top UPP. Unless of course you want to add more UPP and you have to remove the wax first.

My only concern about topping UPP with a carnauba would be the chance that the carnauba might have cleaners, or high solvent content that would remove some, or all the UPP. I doubt you would have a problem with Signature. I have used Natty's, Souveran, and Trade Secret over UPP with nice results.

However, the carnauba does "takes over" the finished look after a couple layers. Still, with those carnauba's, that's not a bad thing. :D

I've never topped UPP with anything myself. It is the one sealant I truly like by itself! I definitely want to try UPP Spray sometime in the near future though. I do have a jar of Signature, maybe I'll give it a shot sometime.
