UPP in the morning

MattS

Oh no, another engineer!
Hmmm ... early morning sunrise ... night after a quick try with AIO and UPP ... any questions?:D

By the way...I'm planning a full clean up on Sunday...the first real nice weather day we have coming up. I've got 2 coats of UPP and one top coat of S100. Can I clean vehicle with UPC and an orbital buffer then add a coat of UPP? Will that bond OK? I want to get rid of the S100 for the spring because we have a HUGE pollen problem...it seems to be a little more attracted to S100 than UPP.

That should work fine. I agree, P21s/S100 or carnauba waxes in generall do attract and hold dust/pollen more so than UPP or some other polymer sealants. I hate that greenish haze that settles on a finish starting around early May.

Thanks....as a follow up....what pad would you suggest for my plan?...I own the terry cloth pad and I bought a yellow foam stertchy alip over cover to use over the terry cloth. I'm thinking that the terry cloth would probably be a little more aggressive than the foam.
I'm very psyched about Sunday...up here in New England we've had about the crappiest spring I can remember...we'll get 1 nice day, folloed by 4 yucky days. Sunday is supposed to be the first of many very nice days. I'm gonna get up...coffee..get changed , then outside for the better part of the day....the Benz will be very happy!

MattS,

That is an incredible picture! Very nice work! I agree, the UPP is very nice stuff.

No questions. :D
