Hey guys, I have been using platinum ultimate paint protection, for about a year now on and off, and no matter what, I just cannot get this stuff to buff off cleanly without a fight. It always smears and hazes. Most of it usually comes off, but if you look closely, there is always a cloudy haze left. Here's my regimen tell me if I am doing something wrong. Wash, UPC, then apply UPP with an orbital buffer, wait about 20-30 minutes, then remove with buffer, terry bonnets , and spend the next 45 minutes trying to remove the haze before I have an unsatisfied customer. I am not exactly new at this, I do about 75 cars a year, and I never have any problems with any other waxes. I would like to keep using this because when it's finally done it looks much better and lasts longer than waxes, but if I can't get this stuff off easier, than I am going to look for something else. So my question is, am I doing something wrong, or does anybody else have this same problem with this product? Are there better polymer sealants, like meguires that I should try? Thanks guys
