What's that smell?
I love the look of UPP, but i've never used it over anything except Platinum polish or AIO because I was concerned about it not being able to bond to hand glaze or Megs 7 or stuff like that, which can make a finish look great. I noticed that on CMA they show someone using Blackfire over IHG and 3M SWR and I was wondering if they actually did this or was it just how the photos were shot. Anyway, I wrote them and here was their reply:
"Blackfire products work just fine over Show Car Glaze and Imperial hand Glaze. We've done this many times and never had any bonding problems. Have fun experimenting. Your car will look fantastic. Happy Motoring!" So there you have it. I think I would love to use UPP to seal in the look of IHG over 3M SWR for dark cars. If it ever stops f#$Kin' raining!
