UPP - 2nd layer after 12 hours?

I'm a first time UPP user and applied my first layer just before 9:00AM this morning. Despite the fact that the label recommends 24 hours before applying another layer, I am curious to know if any of you have had successful results applying the next layer after only 12 hours.

I'd really like to give it a go again at 9:00PM tonight, and then one final layer at 9:00AM tomorrow morning. Any comments, suggestions, and/or opinions are appreciated.

Go for it conrad , As long as you have some decent weather a 2cd coat should be OK.

I would wait but some people don't have all day to wait and reapply. I like to apply a coat of UPP every month anyway . Just to regain that super slick velvet feel.

I actually just decided to put on another coat at 3:00PM, so that makes for 6 hours since the first coat. I'll go for a third layer before I retire for the night. The second layer made it look a lot more wet. :)

I have a baby shower to attend tomorrow, so I'm basically going strictly for that wet look. I'll worry about proper curing next time around.
