Uploading pictures problems again

Looks like I can upload a picture... so it appears to be working for some and not for others...

Not for me. I get the following error nos 010.jpg:
Upload of file failed. my pic name is nos 10 and the file size is 334 kb.

Don't know??? I am at a loss.
 
I am also on some other BB's that use this same format and I have no problem posting pics on those.
 
What program are you using to "process" the pics?
There is one that is incompatible with some sites. (forget which)
 
No program If I use picturetrail it works. This is when I go in and use the "manage attachements" feature to attach photos.
 
I wonder if the people who is having problems uploading photos, have a firewall or an outdated java run time on their computers?

I thought it must be an issue on their end until grisby posted this. :bonk: :gotcha:

That and the fact that different computers were tried with the same error. :hmmm:
 
updated my Java... just to make sure .. there is nothing that could be preventing me from getting notices of pm's ...I have checked on 4 different computers, some on Mozilla, some on IE , some with Norton and some with out ... not coming from this end ;)

Are they going to your spam folder?

I know mine were for a long time.;)

nope that one is empty ..Norton is doing it's job ;)

can i switch the e-mail address they are sent to:hmmm:

still wouldn't explain not being able to attach pictures though :notme:

If Norton was doing it's job that folder would not be empty.;)

You can change the e-mail address in your control panel.

You probably have it set to not save spam which means you could be missing some e-mail. I have to weed threw my spam folder and sometimes I find important e-mails.:eek: :passout:

nope ..it's empty because i allow all e-mails that do not contain virus's to come through ;)

I don't mind spam e-mails only here it bothers me :rofl

Really? :eek:

I get about a hundred spam e-mails a day. I would hate to have those all mixed in with the good e-mails.
