Upgraded the detailing truck a little

I figured I should have a cool truck to represent my cool detailing business. I got rid of the tonneau cover, and got a Snugtop shell so I can haul more equipment. Added a Donahoe Racing 3" suspension lift, Boze Alloys wheels, and GoodYear Wrangler Silent Armor 275/70/17's

I also added a Nav/DVD player and sound system. The Nav is nice for driving right to a new customers location. Just enter the address, and off I go. Driving to a customer's location is a lot more enjoyable now. I did all the work on the truck myself.

Eclipse AVN-6600

Dayton Audio RS225 8" midbass

B&G Neo8 ribbon tweets in the kick panels

Before I put the seats back in

Backup camera in the license plate light housing

Do you guys have any cool detailing rigs?

thats a nice setup....I am looking at getting a NAVI and also looking at getting rid of my tundra and picking up a new tacoma - black

Damn I would love to see what your regular car is. The car is really nice, do you have a setup for the gear in the back?

wow i just wanna hear how it sounds when you pull up to a customers spot. playing your special detail music from miles away.

It can easily be heard a long way away, and the truck doesn't buzz or rattle either. I covered the entire interior sheet metal with 56 lbs of RaamMat dampening mat, and Ensolite. The RaamMat dampens vibrations from the sound system. The Ensolite foam blocks road noise. The truck is real smooth and quiet going down the road. It feels like I'm driving an Escalade, but with better MPG. :chuckle:

I love to play music when I detail cars in my garage, but I would never play music loudly at a customers house or business, unless they want me to. Some customers think it's really cool and want me to turn it up. :D I listen to Dave Matthews Band a lot.

I need to make some kind of rack or drawers or something. I just have everything in Rubbermaid containers. I have a rubber bed mat to keep everything from sliding around. I've also got a big halogen lighting system in the bed of the truck, in case I need to shine some light on a car if I'm detailing in the evening

Mean looking truck you got there! A good image goes a long way!

I have an 02' Silverado for my business and I too will be doing some mods soon.....I can't wait!! :bigups

PB I didnt realize you detailed as a business as well...

Well, it's just getting started. Not full-time yet. The business should grow pretty quick once I really start advertising. There's not much competition in my area, and there certainly isn't any competition that details cars as good as I do. ;)
