just typed a bunch of stuff but lost it here it is again though...

After many research hours, i've compiled a new list of products i want to try/and hopefully keep using.

Wash-Duragloss 901, Optimum no rinse, or their wash, eisenman fabrik shampoo, and/or chem guys citrus for removing lsps

polish-Mostly menz sip, ip, 106 nano polish, Final polish 2, (not sure what the difference between fp2, 87, 106, and 85 are though). Poorboys ssr#, 1z metallic polish wax

wax- pending testing 476s or carnuba moose will be the go to products, maybe duragloss 105, or 1z glanz wax (with the metal polish).

gets a little more difficult here, for the little something extra wax, im considering-Pinnacle Signature series 2, chemical guys '53, chem guys 50/50, lusso oro, zymol creme, dodo diamond white(or maybe a sampler), maybe even springing for some swissvax onyx or souveran. opinions on those w/previous products or in general.

glaze- if desired danse wet glaze, megs glaze, lusso glaze w/ the oro, chem guys glaze

wheels-menz 7.5 (like this ) or p21s, megs apc or wheel brite for tougher jobs.

tires-duragloss 251, optimum tire gel, zaino z-16

qd-fk452, duragloss aquawax(is this a qd, not positive?), duragloss 921, megs 34(current), Prima slick, optimum instant detailer, Poorboys spray and gloss, chem guys super slick. some better for carnuba, some for sealants... which?

i would be willing to buy samples of most of these products

Has anyone heard of C- Magic? I was at Bob Mc Doormans Vette Show this past weekend in Columbus Ohio. I talked to the inventer of the product. His demo was very good, and I thought the product was too. I am a Souveran user and there have been no products to impress me until C Magic. I purchased the wax and the detail spray. I was told to use the detail spray to remove the wax. Plenty of shine and slickness. This product also removes minor micro marring.

Wash-Duragloss 901, Optimum no rinse, or their wash, eisenman fabrik shampoo, and/or chem guys citrus for removing lsps If you polish lsps will be gone anyway .. no need.

polish-Mostly menz sip, ip, 106 nano polish, Final polish 2, (not sure what the difference between fp2, 87, 106, and 85 are though). Poorboys ssr#, 1z metallic polish wax I prefer the Optimum line of polishes for thier workability and non-dusting

wax- pending testing 476s or carnuba moose will be the go to products, maybe duragloss 105, or 1z glanz wax (with the metal polish). I prefer the #105 or the Megs #21 .. carnubas don't last .. used only as a topper.

P21S as a topper .. lower price and you prolly can't tell the difference from the high price spreads.

glaze- if desired danse wet glaze, megs glaze, lusso glaze w/ the oro, chem guys glaze

Danase Wet Glaze .. I have been using this and in reality it even looks better than when I was topping with Megs #16 etc. and lasts a lot longer

wheels-menz 7.5 (like this ) or p21s, megs apc or wheel brite for tougher jobs.

tires-duragloss 251, optimum tire gel, zaino z-16

Opt tire gel I found outlasted most and had a nicer finish.

qd-fk452, duragloss aquawax(is this a qd, not positive?), duragloss 921, megs 34(current), Prima slick, optimum instant detailer, Poorboys spray and gloss, chem guys super slick. some better for carnuba, some for sealants... which?

My answers in bold .. you didn't mention a tire cleaner .. Westleys Bleech Wite.

Also are you doing this for yourself ot selling your services?

probably both my car and others (selling). I was just considering the optimum products, but i must have forgot them in the list. As well as the p21s 100% based on the very positive reviews as an occasional topper. I was curious about the poli-seal from optimum, because i understand its an aio product like klasse and people seem to like it. The optimum products are also priced nicely imo, if they are good products and are less confusing than the menz. I might pick up the p21s kit with the wash and wheel gel because those are very good products i hear.

I use the PoliSeal as a base for nearly all the sealants I use .. And the polishes .. thats all I use.

what about for any carnubas, do you still use poli seal as a base? Also if you put duragloss 105 over poliseal, are there any abrasives in the dg that would remove the poliseal? (dg says its a performance polish, they might be substituting "polish" for "sealant")

I don't use carnubas as a lsp .. DG is a sealant .. no abrasives .. PoliSeal is fine under it.

Wash-Duragloss 901, Optimum no rinse, or their wash, eisenman fabrik shampoo, and/or chem guys citrus for removing lsps

I have been uing ONR only for the last 3 months.

polish-Mostly menz sip, ip, 106 nano polish, Final polish 2, (not sure what the difference between fp2, 87, 106, and 85 are though). Poorboys ssr#, 1z metallic polish wax

I use Prima Swirl mostly. I want to try the 1Z Silicone Free line of polishes

wax- pending testing 476s or carnuba moose will be the go to products, maybe duragloss 105, or 1z glanz wax (with the metal polish).

I like to use a sealant, DG 105, FK Hi Temp 1000p then top with a carnauba

gets a little more difficult here, for the little something extra wax, im considering-Pinnacle Signature series 2, chemical guys '53, chem guys 50/50, lusso oro, zymol creme, dodo diamond white(or maybe a sampler), maybe even springing for some swissvax onyx or souveran. opinions on those w/previous products or in general.

I have recently just started using carnauba wax. I like SSII, it goes on easy comes off easy, looks great, has been on my car 2 weeks with the last 2 days of rain, still looks great but once again only 2 weeks. If I can get a month from this I would be happy. I have used P21s 100% but only on a panel of a car it was just to try, once the SSII wears off I will be goin with 100% and see how I like that.

glaze- if desired danse wet glaze, megs glaze, lusso glaze w/ the oro, chem guys glaze

Danase Wet Glaze

wheels-menz 7.5 (like this ) or p21s, megs apc or wheel brite for tougher jobs.

I use ONR for washing wheels, APC if need some more cleaning. Top off with FK1 Hi Temp 1000p

qd-fk452, duragloss aquawax(is this a qd, not positive?), duragloss 921, megs 34(current), Prima slick, optimum instant detailer, Poorboys spray and gloss, chem guys super slick. some better for carnuba, some for sealants... which?

FK 425 is great, Meguiars M135 is also really good I use both of these regularly.

DG AW is a great for after you wash to help top your wax or sealant. I just recenlty ordered some. I also like Optimum Car Wax when I want to get a lil more of a carnauba look.

yea, not sure if the duragloss will bond properly though if theres another sealant like the poli seal under it. I thought they liked clean surfaces, Hence why i might add a nuba lsp. Jesstzn what sealant do you use over poli seal and does the durability increase, decrease, or not have an effect? Also how are the looks affected?

Medium swirls: Wash DG901>Clay>polish with optimum polish or intensive polish>Poliseal>DG105

few swirls: wash dg901>clay>poliseal (how long does poli seal last on its own?)

few swirls same as above just poliseal>p21s

heavy correction dg901>clay>optimum compound or sip on orange lcc>followed by 106ff or optimum polish>ipa wipedown>poliseal or dg 601 followed by 105

no correction :wash>clay(if needed)>601 dg and 105 or colli 476

any opinions on these combos, just trying to get a few effective options. Also does anybody use the duragloss 601 polish bonding agent before 105? Is it a polish that might remove poliseal or is it something else? Also poli-seal and 105 are not necessarily going together in every case, just throwing it out there to see if they work together. I might use 476s instead of the 105 or instead of the poliseal and 105 or any combo. Opinions?
