Update on #20 durability

Well guys, I detailed my uncles silver focus last end of july with 2 coats of #20, and i just saw it today in the rain, and it still beads(bigger, but still does). Didn't test slickness(obviously bc i dont want to scratch it), but it still looks good on the beading part.

Has he (or you) been washing it regularly by hand? Or was the detail the last time it was washed?

detail was last august, and thats the last time i handwashed it. This vehicle gets washed mostly by a stupid auto car wash with brushes. So, i think its good that it lasted this long.

I am not putting down #20 as I use it and it is pretty durable but don't those automatic carwashes spray on a wax as part of the process?? As I said #20 is durable but, 5 months is stretching it.

Id say you got three months extra ! Ive never had it go more than two months when Ive used it.....Not real fond of it, good for a quicky, but other than that, i just dont care for it.....
