UPDATE!! Current Dual Action Polisher Comparison - Garry Dean - Tampa, FL

And like always, you and everyone else is entitled to their opinion. Many people (including me) happen to like it. Sorry you experienced problems. If I can do anything to help feel free to reach out.

We are actually out of polishers. They were highly popular in our stores. Unfortunately there is no time frame till we have more.

I think on the 2nd batch you need to start including Garry's fabulous Cord Control Clip in with the kit seeing that he's probably been responsible for a few of the sales....:spot

EDIT: oh wait, all you need is another thing for people to complain about. :tape2:

Oh well, that will be Garry's problem not 3D...... :)

And I know darn well how he'll handle those issues.... :smash:

Pretty much!

I do agree, the cord clip should definitely be in the kit.

Darn, I missed out on the polisher!!! I guess no word when another batch will be out? Looks like I will be going with one of the other junk DA's such as the Flex or similar since I hear they have issues... I am a rotary person and never use a DA but have come across a few jobs this past year where a DA would have helped on finishing with soft clears. As for DeWalt rotaries, I bought mine about 5 or 6 years ago and use it every single day and noticed lately it gets so hot to the point I can't even touch the metal head on it. Not sure if it's just because it's summer out and 110 degrees in my shop or what? The other night when it was cooler out it didn't get that hot but was close. Sure hope it doesn't go out!

Besides the 3D and Flex DA type polisher, what else is out there and good or decent quality that I can most likely buy right away? Even if I get something next week I still plan to buy a 3D polisher to try out and give my helper the machine to use and learn on.
