Well, I've got a project I did some testing on and will be scheduling soon. It's my buddy/neighbors 78 or 79 Lincoln Towncar. It was his grandfather's car that he bought brand new and got passed down. Going to be a TON of work, but I'm pretty excited to do it:

Did some testing on the trunk to try this method out and make sure the paint would come back and be worth doing:

I'd say it looks a little better

Looks like a lot of fun. Those large flat panels are perfect for a RUPES LHR 21ES or a Griots Garage G21.

The Rupes it will be. Several hand applications with a 24 hour soak of M07 followed up by Rupes /white pad/HD polish

Hmm... explain. You applied Show Car Glaze to the paint, didn't buff off for 24 hours and THEN polished it?

I used Mike Phillips technique. Applied vigorously with a terrycloth towel by hand, let the glaze sit on the paint for 24 hours, wiped it off and then did the same thing 3 more times. After the 3rd time I followed it up by polishing with HD Polish and waxing.

Per Mike Phillips, the theory is letting the trade secret oils of M07 soak in the single stage paints "rejuvinates" it before polishing

Oh it's gonna be a ton of work. I imagine it'll be at my house for at least a week.
