Undercarriage washs

Well its about that time of year again to remove all the grime and gunk from winter from the belly of the beasts and was wonder what everyone is using. I've been using dawn in my pressure washer and letting it soak and giving it a good scrub but was wondering if I'd be better off using simple green or something. I always pull all the wheels off and put it on jacks so I can get as much as I can, the dawn seems to do a pretty good job and a little goes a long way, thoughts?

Devilsown- I don't like using Simple Green, but rather a good APC.  I use an assortment of brushes to provide mechanical agitation.  You'll probably find that a multi-step approach works better than trying to do it all in one pass, especially as this sounds like the first cleanup since winter started.

And yeah, give the water, and then the cleaner, plenty of time to dwell.

ValuGard sells a cleaner made just for this, but I've never tried it out.
