Hi,
I'm new to forums and found some great information so far, except I'm still confused about one aspect of detailing.
I'd like to keep the underbody of my car rust free and clean, rust free being the highest priority as i live in toronto, lots of snow and salt in winter. i spray the vehicle underbody with water regularly ... but with all the effort i make taking care of paint, interior, etc ... i don't want to overlook this part
1) What is the best way to remove rust and minimize removal of surrounding factory rust protection. I don't have any serious rust, maybe just spots, and don't want worse than that.
2) Is there something I can apply over areas where rust spots was removed that will not alter underlying factory protection ... i'm looking for something that can withstand a harsh winter
perhaps some sort of wax product than can seal out moisture?? i'm assuming that such a product wouldn't affect rust protection and could last for months ... but i really don't know
thank you.
