I'm sorry, it won't open for me. Has something just recently happened to the document?

Seems to work for me at the moment... Do you have a pdf reader, eg Acrobat or Foxit?

That guide took about three weeks of writing, but planning took a lot longer than that!

Great organization! I feel bad getting this information for free!! Hehe!!!

The first thing that I did notice, while glancing though, is the safety disclaimer and how to properly use a rotary (ie throwing the cord over your shoulder so that it does not get hung up in the rotary) is missing.

Another example would be being sure that all loose clothing is either removed or secured. I would hate to see someone get their hooded sweatshirt caught in the rotary. :(

This is just a constructive comment that I had to add, to an otherwise great piece of work.

Sorry, my Adobe reader was way outdated. Works fine now. Can't wait to get reading!

Dave KG- I'm late to this party...just finished (finally) reading it through. Great job :xyxthumbs

Edit: Just realized I shoulda given a "thanks for posting that link" to Pats300zx..credit where credit is due and all that :D

Cheers guys - I am glad that it is proving popular and useful.

I am at present creating a full set of guides - DA polishing, rotary polishing, clayind, sanding, etc etc etc... So watch this space, I will post them up as and when they are produced :)

They are intended as guides for anyone who wants to use them - so Beginners for starting out through to experienced users wanting a little reference. So I would appreciate all feedback on these guides from all users, please - you can PM me it if you dont want to post it publicly. Any feedback, good or bad (ideally constructive ;)) most appreciated as these guides will continually be worked upon and improved, so if you think something is rubbish then say so, so it can be improved :)

Already had great feedback in this thread, taken on board and improvements being worked on as we speak. :)

Great work Dave .Looking forward to the other guides as well.

I just printed the whole guide on my work printer. I'm 30 pages deep so far and the thoroughness is impressive!

It will be my rotary bible.
