Ultimate Microfiber Thread..PICS!!

Has anyone tried any Amazon brand towels? Companies like Towel Titan have told me they get the same towels as Chem Guys, Rag Company, and Meguiars overseas and price them for professionals. Anyone tried these or other brands?

I have not tried any Amazon towels, but I would not be surprised that they come from the same factories. What you get from the big guys is quality control and selection. They buy in bulk. They have to charge you for advertising, warehouseing, employees, utilities, etc. The actual cost for a microfiber towel is .05-$1, then you’ve got shipping and taxes. Remember Amazon takes a cut too.

If you want the best prices go to Alibaba and buy a case. Get the samples first, quality varies.

Interventions are for people with a problem. LOL
I just like having an abundance of certain things. Good thing nobody here knows about my affliction for Cigars.

Microfibers and cigars.....funny how puffin on a cigar and talkin bout microfibers seems like a swell time. Forget cars and coffee..... cars and cigars!

I like the mf shed Fly07sti! I have to buy new totes for my detailing stuff. And find a place for a new shelf too. I would definitely have a use for a shed like you have :)
 
MF and windows...Look Out!

A lot of MF lints and MF lint on autoglass can be a huge PIA. Actually, IME all MF eventually lints, but so far my Griot`s PFMs for Glass are still OK, as are a few of my WWMFs (but not all of `em).

All of my "regular MF" lints. Even my (otherwise great) Plush MF Drying Towels. It bugs me so much I`m kinda fanatical about not letting those MFs ever touch my glass (other than those PFMs for Glass). It doesn`t usually bother me on paint (since it`s not really that bad), but some MFs do lint *that* badly so I`m careful what I use those for.
 
Lots of good MF vendors these days...The Rag Company, MF Tech, PakShack (?sp?), and MicroFiberMadness (very good IME, but pricey) all come to mind, besides all the usual (i.e., Forum Supported) Vendors that get mentioned more often.

Have you ever tried running a lint roller over them after laundering? It’s time consuming but it helps a lot.
 
Holy Thread Brump....

This has revived me to re-look at all the `regular shops to look at MF. I have not bought any new MF in the last 3 years and have at least a equals hoarders worth brand new as is...

Nope, never tried that. I do have adhesive-free rollers, but I dunno...if nothing else I`m not gonna spend the time. (Yeah, I know... :o ... but I won`t.)
