... Doesn't Pinnacle have a very similar product?

The Pinnacle PCL (see my previous post ) was nearly identical to the *old* HD Cleanse as per Irene at TOL; according to her the one had "clay" while the other had "talc" for one ingredient. Forget which was which IIRC this was way back in the early-mid '90s).



But now the PCL formula has been changed a bit too. All I have is the old version, but from what I hear the new stuff is basically the same, just a little more gentle in all regards (i.e, both mechanical and chemicall). I have *not* heard any caveats about it performing/behaving differently to any significant degree.

I always though that H D Cleanse was just like Megs #3 or #7 . It even smelled the same.

I use quite a bit of HD Cleanse. I spread it all around one panel, let it sit, then rub off. It takes some muscle to get it off completely, and if it dries too much simply use your wetted applicator and immediately follow with a microfiber wipe. I use the Autospa towels, and they seem to do a great job.
