Ultima Tire and Trim Guard

I've seen Accumulator mention he prefers this over something like 303 aerospace or 1Z trim protectant (both of which I have). What's the reasonging and would I just be overlapping by buying the Ultima?
 
I love UTTG. It is a sealant/protectant and last a very long time on trim and tires. You must clean everything first with a light APC and then apply. It doesn't wash off like other products. A little goes a long way and it is well worth the money.
 
Yeah, I still love the stuff.  I've been refreshing it with ValuGard's Fast Finish for a quickie touchup after a wash, and also with Garry Dean's Beyond Infinity Sealant.


 


Note that such stuff is, IMO, a completely different approach than 303 and other dressings, which I do use upon occasion. 


 


Oh, and FWIW I do my pre-UTTG cleaning with Griot's Rubber Prep (yeah, on hard plastics too), works *perfectly* IME.
 
thanks, got some on black friday deal and what I understand is that it'll darken whereas opti-seal wouldn't


 


for pre-clean I really like 1Z plastic cleaner or just higher dilution APC if not that dirty.
