I can't believe the price (£39.99) they are asking for Carlack, considering I just got mine at half that price including postage.

It's interesting to note that they claim .....'20% more performance than Klasse or others'.........

I'd really like to know how the hell they measure that one:shocked

I did a side by side comparison with Mer and Resin. After washing followed by clay I applied both product to different panels on the bonnet. Both were applied in a thin layer and left for an hour. The Resin buffed easily whereas the Mer required some QD. On its own the Mer looked ok but compared to the Resin it looked notably duller.

I still think Mer may have the edge on chemical cleaning but as a one step product the Autoglym wins.

I did a cleaning test using a black marker pen on a tumble dryer. Autoglym had the edge in cleaning over Mer, Finish 2001 and Zymol Cleaner Wax. Have to try again now I have AIO. Don't fancy trying this on a car as it was quite difficult to get off.

If you can, leave the Mer and SRP on your car to see what difference you find in durability.

No problem, it is still on the bonnet

Not tried that one - may have to give it a whirl - anyone else?

And £39.99 for Carlack - aimed at the "we saw you coming" market methinks - mine cost £18 or so!!!

Surprised they can offer the PC - PC UK told me that unless it's got a CE mark (which a US imported PC of course doesn't) it can't legally be sold (as opposed to privately imported) into the EU - Roland @ PC UK said it wasn't worth him taking the risk as the fine can be crippling.

That notwithstanding I'd say £230-odd is high, given that a PC on its own from here for example plus import duty wouldn't as much (mine was around £125 from memory plus transformer @ £60ish)

Ah!

that answers my question-Why can't I find the polisher on PC U.K.

£200+ seems expensive on the polishing Co's website.

Taken from 'The Polishing Company' website:

Car-Lack Acrylic Wax

Fantastic hard wearing shine in just 40 minutes! 20% more performance than Klasse or others - Acrylic Polish kit £39.99

Note the word 'kit'... there must be some other bits that go with the Car-Lack for that price?

Judging by their pricing maybe a single MF?? :D

Did you get your Carlack sample OK BTW Craig?

I've been reading this thread with a great deal of interest!

I assume that Klasse AIO is being discontinued? if so, what a pity! I love it!

Is Carlack68 (or Grojet2000) being recommended as a replacement?

Anyway, I've found another site (link below) that sells Carlack68

http://www.afeonline.com/afeshop/enter.html?lang=en-uk&target=d358.html&lmd=38412.457685

(I don't if this is the cheapest?)

With regard to a George wet & dry interior cleaner mentioned earlier you can find one quite reasonable here:

http://www.lawson-his.co.uk/scripts/details.php?cat=Carpet Shampooers&product=21321

(I'm just about to get one as it has been recommended to me)(Does anyone know of one that's even cheaper?)

AudiDriver... I also got my George from Chemiclean as mentioned on the previous page... it cost £155 inc. VAT, next day delivery and 2 x 5 litres of shampoo. Pretty good value IMO.

Craig - sent it must be 2 weeks ago. Will resend by guaranteed next day.

Ref vacuums I got an Earlex wet & dry from Argos - about £35 and it has a blower function too. I find it spot on for wet cleaning/extracting

jgv - can you give me some idea of cost inc shipping both individually and as a UK group buy please? thank you.

AudiDriver - AFAIK AIO's not being discontinued - far from it in fact. Mr Creasey, would you care to chime in young man?!
