UK Question

Couldn't find anything after a quick Google search - assue I'd be looking for something similar to what I use when mowing the lawn to avoid electrocution if the blade were to cut the electrical cable? i.e. something I can buy @ B&Q?

Well as you may know I've had mine for a while & have used mainly DACP & machine applied vanilla moose wax.

I have just got some Menzerna IP & FP to try on my new Porka when the weather gets better.

Out of interest, what products are you guys going to use with your new PC

As I had no idea about proper polishes before I joined autopia (peviously it was just AG SRP) I have now bought several so that I can judge them for myself.

First ones were #9 and #82. Then after reading more and more threads 2 more brands kept popping up, 1Z and Menzerna. I was very tempted to go the Menzerna route until I read about the removal probs that some people have had. I read all I could about the 1Z and the application and removal was said to be dead easy.........so I bought all 3 :D With all of those I should cover all eventuallities.

Then I can attack my car with the Klasse twins (maybe not with PC though) and then who knows what.......:nixweiss  I'll sort that later

Good to meet you too Jim, glad to be able to help out fellow autopians :)

Dave if you're reading this, it IS in the post :)

.. if you're reading this, it IS in the post

How many times we have ALL used this phrase :) only joking.

Anyone want to try Autoglym Resin on a PC?

Sorry Steven couldn't resist that :D

Now then, errrrrrr if you are in UK and you want to order PC from here and want to know something that may be to your advantage (about £25 or so), drop me a PM and I'll tell you how my order went.

Is this a secret code for a discovery of a stockpile of 240v PC's somewhere in the UK?

Autoglym on my PC...might just give that a try.

Just checked my credit card statement - my recent PC order from Autopia for the basic PC package and 5" flexi backing plate and shipping which was $194.90 came to £109.95 GBP. Not bad eh?

Not bad at all!

You will get the VAT and Duty bill on top of that, billed separately at a later date...... Not trying to p*** on your strawberries, just letting you know.

Cheers :).....

Hi Alex... Fully aware of the dreaded Duty and VAT on top. But I reckon the final cost shouldn't be more than £140 GBP. I've spent approx. £35 on pads with yourself, so all in £175 ish GBP, I'm pretty pleased with that! Borrowing my brother-in-laws transformer aswell for now, so that's saving me a few quid. :) Exchange rate is excellent at present - never been a better time to buy a PC!!

Thats very cheap! A bargain in fact! Saving £50 odd quid on the transformer is a bonus as well! We just need the good old British weather to pick up so we can actually get out and use it! From the sounds of it, The car won't be coming out of the garage this weekend :(...... Roll on Spring!!! :D

Cheers.
