UK awashed with new Waxes!

RaceGaze 42% and 55% pure Carnauba by volume $90 & $130

Autoglym High definition wax around $70

The UK wax jockeys just love their Carnauba and new products. The manufactures know they have the market to sell to and their acting on it. Personally I fine Carnauba base wax just doesn't hold up long enough. Ive tried 3 different waxes (not these) cost me over $200. When first applied yea it's great but give it a week in the hot Hawaiian sun it's cooked. I now have great lookin kitchen cabinets needed to put these waxes someplace.

Zymol and Swissvax play hardball in the UK market that might give a clue how big it is.

question: if i had a friend in england who agreed to buy some and bring it back here, would they have any problems with customs?

NO probs bring it through customs. Pop them in the suitcase and you can pass through fine. Also they do "test tubes" with 4 or 8 little wax containers, one of each type.



Just be aware that most of its marketing hype and and its sold well to alot of people but in the eyes of the more Autopian among us you wont be that impressed. But really your better off putting your money in to some Max Wax or Nattys Red of Petes 53 or a bottle of Z5 or Z2 IMO.



I havent tried the new DODO mentioned above, i have minty ones in a little sample and they were ok.
