I suppose its a good thing i gotta polish through this diamond hard coating before ill hit any clear then.
 
jrock645- Good that you can see something (maybe) positive, I`m just bummed that you have to deal with it at all. Especially since you`re having to get aggressive about it and it`s hard to, you know..."stop abrading when you`re through the coating but not into the paint". Sounds like one of those "theory vs. practice" things to me!
 
The only tip I can offer is look for a color change. That is when the coating is gone. I’m surprised that he said surbuff pads? Must be what he sells? I’ve never had a problem with any coating using microfiber pads.
