I think what my dad found was the RE 3.5" 'Super Flex'. He said it was about 800 for parts, and 3-400 for install.
Where on the axle can I find what type it is?

a d35 diff is pictured below
like i said. there is a right way and a half@ssed way to do it. if your just cruising trying to turn heads at the local elementary school im sure the kit alone will be ok, but if you really want a suspension system that works well the more expensive option is the way to go.
I hope you are not getting it intalled at 4wheel parts warehouse either. the only thing they know how to lift is a leaf sprung F250 which is pretty much idiot proof. i would install it yourself... since you say you will be wheeling it. what you going to do when a control arm breaks and you dont know what to do? tow trucks dont come down the trail.

I don't know if they nationally known, but there's a place called Pungo Off Road down in (you guessed it!) Pungo, VA that would install it. Pretty great place, been doing everything forever. We'd be right next to them watching everything to learn as they go. < Which is, feel more comfortable letting a pro do most of it. We also considered joining the local Jeep club and participating in one of their wrench days.
Using the Re 'Super Flex' kit and the additional shafts, what should this run us? I figure about 300 bucks for installation unless we can find a local jeeper around here to help out.
