I just found out that eshine discontinued the sale of the UDM due to reliability issues. Anyone know what is going on?



I know the V2 of the UDM is up in the air..................
 
Interesting, I just ordered a UDM maybe a month ago and from the convo with chris it didnt seem he entertained the idea of discontinuing it.

I am not familiar with the convo....please let me know what this is.........
 
I have had 2 failed UDMs so far .. the replacement service is good but when they fail mid detail it doesn't help you much. Seems its the brushes or the rotary switch that goes.



One lasted 8 cars and I'm not hard on them .



My PC has lasted 4 years and countless cars.



If the 3rd fails then I'll prolly just give up and get a Flex ( which I should have done in the first place ..Hindsight is always 20/20)



All three had the same build date.



I'm hoping that if the 3rd fails they will replace it with the new version. Or take it back for credit against a flex.



The other thing is the cord is too short and when over your shoulder the plug is right behing your legs and a few times it has caught on something and caused the UDM to jar in your hands.

I emailed eshine and they responded that they discontinued the sle of the UDM because of reliability issues. When I went back on their website they do not offer it.......
 
I hope it isn't too unreliable. I bought mine last year and have used it twice with now problems.



Fingers crossed since it's out of warranty now.

It was not an easy decision for eShine as the UDM is a great machine when it does work. The company is also great with replacing defective units. We have been told there are changes being made to the machine to improve the quality which is good news, we plan on selling the machine again when these changes are made.
