This one was truly a treat! What an amazing car!

For most automotive enthusiasts, the 2003 “Uber M3 built by Craig Lieberman (of Fast and Furious fame) needs no introduction. Run a google search for Craig Lieberman’s Uber M3 and you’ll find dozens of articles profiling this over-the-top M3 build. Initially slated to appear in the third installment in the F&F movie series, its appearance was canceled after producers decided on the “Tokyo Drift theme. (continued here...)

I've got the full write-up on my website.

A special thanks to John and the guys at CES Motorsports for lending us their facility to work on this car. The level of care they extend to their customers indicates that this relatively new outfit will be fully booked with M cars for many years to come!

Using nitrous doesn't make the floorpan fall out, does it?

I would never want to drive it. It's too beautiful to take on the interstate.

That what I was saying... but the owner drives it frequently! I say good for him!

What is the color called?
It's not a catalog color, but based on Lamborghini Candy Blue. Quigley's Auto Paint used PPG paints to achieve the effect by laying down 2 coats of Lavender, 4 coats of Metallic Blue, followed by 2 coats of PPG clear. As stunning as it looks in pictures, it looked absolutely incredible under those shop lights. Depending on the angle, the hue can tilt towards greenish blue all the way to a purplish deep blue.

This write up said the following about the paint...

Quigley's Paint charged a cool $14,000 to paint the car this custom, Lamborghini candy blue using 2 coats of base lavender, 4 blue coats and 2 clear coats.
