There is no cure!
pulled this off e90post's off topic section and had to share. lol...

he has benz, bmw, honda, and toyota on the car. what spraks me to believe it might be true is the rice meet they have in the background.

and that ungodly charcoal matte paint.

edit: forgot to mention the huge must have DICE on the mirror

by the way, someone on the other forum brought it up and id like to get a ahold of it, its a picture of someone making fun of the rice scene. he put a cardboard spoiler, coke bottle with hise (resemble NOS) and big cans as an exhaust. id love to share that with some of my friends.

Sorry, but that thing is hideous.
It looks like he didn't know what to do so he threw it all into a blender and come out with that.

Sometimes people do stuff like that to show off their body work skills. If you really look at it, while it may be ugly, it is a demonstration of some pretty clean body work. Not all of it looks great, but that joining of the fenders and front bumper is great. There is some talent in the shop that built that car. I wouldn't want them to do this to my car, but if I had a body kit I wanted molded to the rest of my car then I would feel good about going to who did that work.

Mama don't let your crack babies grow up to drive imports.

yeh Fuzz love those rear quarters...lol :gathering

I agree with the Fuzz-that's some pretty clean body work. And while it may be ugly, you gotta love the Supra tailights in the space under the rear body kit piece!

It aint that bad. Atleast I like the front end but the rear has got to go. I like ricers and have owned a couple. He should of just put the Supra lights where the factory ones are instead of on the bottom of the Bumper. I like ricers when they look good and have owned a couple. They are the new generation hot rods. Imports :punk:

the title scared me for a minute, ok go ahead..

OHH i forgot to post . although not something i would have done i think it was creative and the work is decent.

it may actually look somewhat cool if it was in a different color. flat black just makes it look unfinished. creative, i will give them that.

dont get me wrong. i like tuner import cars. i just cant stand cars that look like crap and some drunken mans version of what fast and the furious looked like.

i certainly wouldnt call nismo modded 350z a ricer. but i would call a 92 civic on some cheapo rims and a advance auto parts exhaust tip rice!

The flat black is probably because it isn't done. I've been to a lot of shows where tuners bring their unfinished projects.

I agree with the Fuzz that some of that work looks clean, but that back part must have been built by someone other than the guy that built the front. That looks like even worse crap than the CRX started out as. lol Really poor stuff back there. That front is very creative and looks to be well molded. We'll see how well it holds up to the first curb or speed bump it hits.

When I see something like that, I guess my reaction breaks down to one simple line: It ain't mine and I'm glad.

hey sean,

ever take u're vteg to those shows. looks very cleanly modded. in that picture they seem to have a couple in the background.

What's wrong with that car???? It looks like the average car that hangs out at Bird Road (40th street) on Tuesday & Thursday nights.

haha! the benz headlight molds and the bmw grill. other than that it would just look hideous, but witht he mold and grill, it looks insultingly hideous.

ive never been to the races on bird, but have been invited a couple times. im just worried of getting a ticket or arrested for just watching/

Again, just examples of extreme body work. It's just an example of what they can do. Not that anyone would ever want to do it, but if the shop can pull off something like that then I'm sure they can mold my body kit to the rest of the car without a problem.

Since when did DC become a bunch of haters? Can't you just respect the work and move on? Do we really need to turn this thread into a 'rice hate' fest?
