Typical January Day in Mass..??

It hit 61 at my place and while not your typical January day in MA I couldn't resist taking advantage of it.

My daughter and I did some exterior detailing on her Elantra. What this translates to is I gave the exterior a thorough washing, dry, spray wax, and cleaned the glass.

Then I did some front yard cleanup because I could....

You know it hasn't been very cold up North when y'alls grass is still green  Fact I think my part of the South has been colder, my St. Augustine grass is dormant for the season. Normally it still has patchy spots here and there.

Now there's global warming you can get behind. Sure beats shoveling snow and looking at a car all covered with salt spray.

Nice work, I love the reflection shots. Which spray wax did you use?

Hey Richard,

I've been using the new Pinnacle XMT Spray Wax.

According to what I've read, they've reformulated it. It does go on easily and the more it dries the slicker the surface becomes. This also may be because I'm using in in cooler temps causing it to flash or dry a bit slower too.

So far I'm pretty impressed with it because I'm a Die-Hard Optimum Spray Car Wax user and it takes a lot for me to warm up to another product...

Car is looking good. We had about 50 degrees the other day. No snow really, but they still have the roads cakes with salt. I don't want salt on my good car so i haven't had a chance to enjoy it.

Bobby the car looks amazing. I'm glad to see that you are being able to enjoy this weird warm weather we are having.

Looks like you put the weather to good use Bobby. Over 60 here in Indy yesterday and not bad today either. I'll take this over the snow and ice anyday !

Looks great Bobby !!!! It hit 60 here in Delaware and I was able to get my 4Runner washed and cleaned up. It's only in the 40's today so no outside detailing for me. Garage projects :)

Car looks great!
Glad you like the new XMT, I really like it as well. Still testing durability, but OPT spray wax has a run for its $ with the new XMT.

On a weather note it was 66 here in MD yesterday, 50s today. It was 19 on Tuesday! Weather is nuts. Crazy thing is I too need to mow my side and backyard, but the mower is packed away in the shed with patio furniture, flower pots, ect pile on and around it, never had to get it out before spring before. Oh well!

great work as always.

this weather is meesed up all over lol. here in Illinois we just had 2 days in the low 50's. and it felt nice. lol

Nice work on the car Bobby! Looks great. I waxed the wife's Grand Cherokee Saturday too. But I got to ask about the John Deere.....Is it detailed too? Looks really clean!

It was nice here as well but I was stuck inside reorganizing things after we had carpet and some painting done. I wish I could have cleaned out the garage.

Shhhh, don't tell my wife, she's already looking at me funny! :lmfao

The car looks great. It's amazing that's all you did. Are you the keeper of the vehicle?:) This has been a strange winter up north. I never though the grass might need one more mow in Dec.

Great work as always Bobby! I too can't believe this weather we have here in Illinois. I know the weathers truley getting messed up, but I can't help but love waxing my car in January :excited:
