Two truly disgusting black vehicles - v. Audi and Tahoe

Nice work Sean...I did my friend's Tahoe last weekend. Similar condition, sooooo much work. I had it easier too since his was gold, not black.

Ive earned plenty of repsect for you guys that deal with this stuff regularly.

3 hours total for BOTH cars? talk about working at fast....jeeezzzzz I'm not even done with the exterior on my car, even though that would include clay, 1 (sometimes two) step polish and aio + sealant.

Lookin' good as usual Sean! Can you elaborate a bit more on your "pre-soak" step? Under what conditions do you do this?

Seth: Surely :).

First I pressure rinse the vehicle. Immediately following, I soak the majority of the vehicle (mainly the lower half and the windows/mirrors/bumpers) with FK1's Ultimate Cleaner cut 10:1. Its one of the few APC's that is pH neutral. I then soak the tires in TOL's Tire Cleaner cut 50/50. Following this, I will scrub the windows, lights, and gently on the lower rockers and nose with the yellow bug scrubbing pad. Finally, I will wash as normal and pressure rinse.

I do these in most conditions under 70*. I haven't tested the APC over that temp, but under, even in sun, it has never etched in (even when dried on paint). I like it :).

Is this guy not the bomb or what ?????? :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

man i gotta make out to long island..

if you're ever in T.O. , the drinks are on me !

As important as process, products and technique are; it is undeniable that natural talent matters :up

I think what impresses me the most in not the finish, but the time you take to accomplish it. If the audi took you almost one hour to wash, that means that the rest was done in aprox 85 minutes...... Impressive to say the least.

I think what makes the difference between the good detailers and the elite ones (Sean, Scott, Anthony and Paul to mention a few) is the sheer raw talent

Alex

Thomas: I don't prime the pads, just move the polish around with the pad.

tumbler: I'm not familiar at all with Canada, but I will be in Montreal in a few weeks. How far is that from you?

Alex: You are very kind; thank you for the words.

Excellent job as usual, Sean. Your work never ceases to amaze me. The speed at which the above results were achieved is just insane! I wish I could find a pro as good as yourself in the Nashville area. Keep up the great work!

I ran out of words to use to comment about Sean's work long, long ago except for one that I'm going to have use repeatedly: speechless :bow :2thumbs:

Steve: You are correct. This is due to most manufacturers painting the bumpers off the vehicle at a separate time. Toyota's champagne color is the absolute worst for this. When I did a new Solara, you would swear the car was two tone.

Thank you :)

wow. awesome work. i'm amazed that you only used P085RD, but i guess with a rotary polisher it has more bite than with a PC. but yeah, that's just awesome work. :bow
