Two Products, Same Pad?

I will be using my PC for the first time, using Sonus DAS pads, and SSR2.5 + SSR1.



I plan to start with the SSR2.5, and a green pad, followed by SSR1. My question is this: Can I use the green pad for the SSR1, WITHOUT washing out the SSR2.5? As I understand it, SSR is a diminishing abrasive. Will any harm come from using the same pad for both products? Is the blue pad aggressive enough (with SSR1) to remove any marring from the SSR2.5 green pad combo?



My paint is in decent shape, and I do not think I will need to tear into it with 2.5 and an orange pad. I think this is too agressive.

You WILL, I repeat, WILL! have to wash the pad in between SSR 2.5 and SSR 1.



It's really not such a hustle, soak the pad a little, spray it down with a hose until the water comes out clean, an spin dry it.



If that's too much just buy a second pad. It's always good to have at least two around.



Oh and I have used the blue pad with SSR2 to remove slight hazing from SSR2.6 w/ orange. There's no harm in trying it out.
