Two Porsches, one black, one silver

EBPcivicsi

GOT PREP?
This Porsche received a full detail—it wasn’t in bad shape, but needed a bit of correction and the interior needed the usual steaming, extracting, etc.

We polished it with SIP @1500 RPM’s, PO106FF via PC, then sealed with opti-seal.

The second Porsche was butchered by the dealership! This is brand new, < 3K on the clock. Those of you who have been around here for a while might remember a Cayenne that I did a few years ago—this was the same dealership!

We corrected the paint with SIP vis rotary @1500 RPM’s, SIP via PC/orange Lp pad, PO106FF via PC/white LP pad. It was sealed with opti-seal.

We also applied paint protection film to the front bumper, hood, fenders, door cups, and rear splash areas,

wow the black porsche is perfect what did u use on wheels the barrels are immaculate

Any reason why u used a PC to finish? Do u think the PC has enuff "nuts" to properly break down menz abrasives?

thanx and WOW!

Thanks guys! We used Ardex "proper" on the wheels.

The PC breaks down the Menzerna polishes perfectly for me.

I am assuming that those water spots were not etched into the paint since the after shots looked so nice and you did not mention any wet sanding. Awesome car and an even more awesome detail job.

That is some phenominal work!!

I am in complete awe how good the black car came out! The dealership must have been shocked to see the end result.

Do you feel that the PC finishes any better than by rotary? I have been detailing for 14 years and have always used a rotary for everything and get great results. Sometimes I wonder if it would be worth investing in a DA type polisher such as a flex for finishing work. What are your thoughts?

Thanks!!

I always assume that I have holograms in the paint, so finishing with the PC works great for me. It really depends on the paint, but almost always finish wirth the PC.

z06meister, they were etched, but not very deep--ther paint is also very soft.

I saw the gray one and i already had my response figured out.. how PERFECT, how WET.. then I saw the black one................:shocked :shocked :shocked :shocked :shocked :shocked

AMAZING!!!
