Two New Product Lines at Target

Just happened to see what was up at Target in the Automotive section and I stumbled across two new brands:

1. Vroom - looks like a Target private label brand and the soap looks like Griots or Gold Class. Website is www.vroombrand.com

2. Rubbermaid Car Wares line - they seemed to only have a detailing brush but the funny thing was it had retractable and adjustable bristle like the new Megs brush I bought a few weeks ago.

I think their website is: www.carwares.com but I can't seem to find the server. Can't remember if there is an "s" at the end...

Also, I stopped by Pep Boys and picked up some Reflections wax from Mothers. I will try to have a review up with pictures soon. It is pricey at $17.99 but Steve Litscher seems to like it. It's covered in the new RoadFly issue. I also picked up some of the new FX Tire Shine from Mothers. It's on sale for $5.99.

I saw the vroom stuff too. The packaging looks like Target private label products.

I'd like to learn more about it too. Right now, I'm assuming vroom is rebranded something or another give the fact it's exclusive to Target :nixweiss.

I sure would jump for joy if the car wash winds being Griots! :bounce

post wether the Reflections fills swirls at all and of it has any cleaners-i'm assuming some very mild ones for bonding purposes

On the Mother's Wax Forum Forrest states that Reflections car wax has light cleaners in it while the Reflections Top Coat does not contain cleaners.

There is no mention as to whether Reflections Spray wax contains cleaners or not.

I almost bought this wash, but I went to Carquest and picked up the Duragloss. Apparently it's the "new formula" (red, thicker, smells like cherry licorice). Quite a bit more expensive at 4.39/16oz.

Keep us posted, Boss. :)

Corey,

I'm not sure I have the new formula but Duragloss is a terrific OTC wash.

Unfortunately, my Pep Boys seems to carry part of the Reflections line and part of the FX line but not all of both. They are low on inventory a bit so I will check the downtown location (Buckhead) to see if I can find more of the line.

New formula? Does it say that on the bottle? I'm very happy with the old formula I bought last summer. I hate it when they start messing around with products. You find something you like and they F it up.:wall

Ever since I read about the new Mothers Reflections line, I've wanted to try it. However, none of the new Reflections products can be found where I live. The FX products are readily available, however. In any case, I found a place online that had the entire lineup of Mothers products and placed an order with them yesterday. They had pretty good prices too - the new Power Polish was on sale for $6.95, the new Reflections Wax was priced at $9.49, and the Reflections Top Coat was $12.95. The FX SynWax was $10.95. Free shipping with orders over $100. If under $100, their shipping rates were still extremely reasonable. I've never bought anything from this place before so I don't know how good/bad they are. Not sure if I can post the link to that store, but if anyone would like to know, send me a PM.

The couple Targets I've been to had a full section of the Rubbermaid brushes and such. All made in China. And they do seem to be clearing out alot of car stuff-wax type stuff and accessories (seat covers, bags, etc.). I also noticed the Vroom (Vvroom?? Vrroom?) brand had no "wax" product. They had a website listed on the package, but I can't remember it off the top of my head.

I made a thread about VROOM a few days ago and didnt get much response. I thought it looked like a Target label as well, but it looked promising.
