Two details

THese cars were both kept in my garage for a couple of days so I could work them back into shape. The results are in and I am very satisfied to say the least. The owners are thrilled.

The first is a 1994 Chevy Cav and the second is a 1990 -92 MB 4Matic. Both vehicles were in very bad shape and proved to be alot of work. The benz took me through 2 clay bars which wasnt half as bad as the scrathes and key marks. I spent 3 hours on the key marks alone. Coinsidering the MB has no clearcoat and its rough history, it is a miracle it has any paint left. I should have taken some before pictures but I guess I just skipped right to business.

I spent close to 26 hours preparing, leveling, glazing and waxing two cars. Thank god they werent trucks!

Here are the pics

Great job on both cars. I'd like to see more pics of the Benz at different angles, and fewer close-ups. But from what I can tell ou did a great job.

:up :up

26 hours and no before picts?? They look great, though! :xyxthumbs

I'm with Bretfraz. The close-ups might be more Autopian since they show the condition better, but hey, I want to see that whole car shining. :D (For all we know, you just cleaned three spots on that Benz... ;) ). Hey, is that a keymark at the upper left of pict 3? What a shame stuff like that happens.

Thanks everyone. The key marks start on the passenger side fender, become more frequent on the doors and end somewhere by the gas cap. The drivers' side has one keymark along its side as well. Its really nasty so I decided not to take the pictures. I will definitely take some photos of the car when it returns for a wash and wax so everyone can see the 3 hour touch up job I did with a razor.
