TVR Tuscan

A neighbour annoyer for you this time! I could personally listen to this cars engine for ages but I imagine the street wouldn't like it!

Just me for this detail as Harry was ill, which meant I had little time for pictures and as Harry has the decent camera i had to use my old crappy one!

SO APOLOGIES FOR THE LACK OF DECENT PICTURES, I HAD TO USE THE BACKUP CAMERA!

This is the state the TVR Tuscan greeted me with;

I started off by cleaning the alloys with Meguiars Super Degreaser and the Alloy Bullet Brush that's so effective, as shown in the picture.

The door shuts were next, using the same degreaser as the alloys. I rinsed both down with the Jetwash (turned off) after wiping them.

The car was then washed using the Gilmour Gun and Snowfoam, and then clayed using Meguiars Mild (Blue) Clay, followed by another repeated wash. Here's the only a pic of the clay and the only one of the washing$ part as it's hard taking a picture of yourself!

The curvey Tuscan was then dried off with Sonus Der Wunder Drying Towels and some Megs Quick Detailer.

Here are the only 2 pictures that this crappy camera managed to get of some of the swirls. The car wasn't too bad but the pictures don't tell the full story.

I then proceeded to machine polish the whole car using Meguiars #80 (occasionally #83) and Sonus SFX Cutting Pads. I was suprised how hard the paint was if I'm honest. I expected Alfa like softness but got a medium hardness instead.

For future reference remind me to get some concave pads as some parts of this car are just too damn curvy!

Here's some after shots (damn this camera!)

Thankfully Lorna managed to get some bubblegum smelling Rim Wax on the alloys so that saved me a bit of time. The car was waxed all over using P21s, which brought out the shine nicely. Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing and Meguiars Glass Cleaner finished it all off!

Here's what I got coax out of the camera for the final pictures!

Thanks for reading!
