Turtle Wax Product reviews and a C&B on a 2001 4-Runner.

The foam worked just like Poorboys S&W, only for lightly dirty cars. Leaves a nice shine.

TW just contacted me on another forum where I run the detail section and asked if I would give an honest review.

'Excellent read. Sounds like a good product to transition people from the world of retail waxes and washes to the world of clay bars, microfiber towels, and professional products.\r\n\r\nI\'ll be buying some of those towels for sure, as well as consider the paste wax and liquid claybar/cleaner wax for my wife\'s car.'

Just tried the ICE Paste (I know, I'm late to the party). Pretty disappointed. Posting here since most of the other threads deal with the liquid.

-On isn't exactly easy

-Off is harder than average

-Looks, below average

Didn't test durability as that was enough to kill the deal for me. If it was a $10 product, I'd take my lumps, at $17, its going back.

I have tried the Foam Away on my usual testor; my DD with over 160K miles. It did a decent job on a lightly soiled car. One problem I did notice is that it streaked a little over my hood. (to be fair, I had driven the car and the hood was warm so I attributed that failing to me and not the product). I found it at Harbor Freight and was intrigued enough to buy it.

That being said, I prefer ONR or DP rinseless washes to that or any other wash. Foam Away is used on my lawn mower, my metal mailbox, and my kid's swingset primarily now.

I do like the Liquid Clay in a quick non-autopian detail.

I haven't tried the paste wax and to be quite honest, I'd rather use a liquid type of wax anyway.

I bought a couple of bundles of T-Wax towels at Big Lots for cheap. They actually are high quality but an odd size like 14X14. Are the one they sent you undersized?
