turtle wax emerald series paste wax

Hello! Has anyone tried Turtle Wax's Emerald Series Paste Wax? How would it compare to 3M's Perfect-It wax? Hope you can help.

I might be the only one, but i hate all of turtle wax's products. They all suck. Go for meguiar's gold class wax rather than turtle wax. You can get it at any walmart. The step up from that is klasse or zaino. those two will leave your car like :bounce

Turtle Wax products, with the exception of the Tire Gel, are generally not liked here.

Meguiars Gold Class wax is a good choice and is available locally.

If you want to go any higher in quality then that, you have to decide if you want to go with a polymer based sealent like Klasse, Zaino or Blackfire, or with a high quality Carnuba Wax, like Pinnacle Souveran(in my experience this one is the best) or Blitz Wax by Omega.

Or you can combine the 2, a few layers of klasse SG and then top with a carnuba.

Im not going to get into the prep stage here, for that do a search in the archives.

Hi,

welcome to the Forum,

I can answer this :

TW's Emerald Paste wax (TWEPW)gives a good initial shine , but I found it to have NO sheeting-beading action , so I wonder where the protection is.

Further : two (2!)washes and TWEPW was gone.

I gave the stuff away.

Meguiars Gold Class paste wax is indeed much better , but I use that on my bike ,'cause the durability isn't that long allso.

I can only advise you to read and search this forum , you'll deffinatly find answers to all your questions.Don't make the mistake I made : buy first , read later , do it the other way :read first , buy then!!!

post a pic , it helps us to help you

I asked Meguiars what wax to use on my application and they said Gold CLass, not #26 and not #20 - just gold class.

I have an almost new Ford with a dark blue finish.
