Tuff Shine Tire Shine Kit-Review

I have and used the kit on 2 vehicles. The bottle of cleaner in the kit did both vehicles with multiple applications and there is still enough left to do at least a few more vehicles.

While the tuff shine cleaner is good I have always start with my APC @ 10: or 4:1 for the first cleaning pass. This helps to get most of the crud off. I then use the TuffShine to get the rest and to deep clean the tires. This seems to work the best for me and save the TuffShine as its expensive compared to APC and other cleaners.

Also, so far I have only really used the TuffShine cleaner when prepping for TuffShine tire coating application. On a regular basis APC -or- AmazingRollOff work well and gets them clean enough when using a brush and following up the a MF towel scrubbing.

Good thinking on using APC before TUF Shine. If it saves you at least 1 round of cleaning with the product per tire, that's 4 rounds you didn't have to use the more expensive product. :)

Interesting that you guys should say that. I just made a video on tire cleaners and the bonus at the end supports what you guys said :)

Tuf shine does seem to be the best tire cleaner. Too bad it's so darn expensive!

I used the cleaner on tires mounted on clearcoated rims and there was no problem at all.

Make sure the tires are totally clean (no brown ozonants oozing through). Two applications of the cleaner may be required, or like some others said, use another less expensive cleaner first.
