Trump 2016

Eh, I feel kinda sorry for the above rant, I have mixed feelings about having posted it but I`m gonna let it stand.

Hey, I`ll probably vote for Trump! But only because of Hillary`s stated objective of appointing a SCOTUS that will reinterpret the definition of "the people" as used in the Bill of Rights. It`s not just the chance of overturning the Heller decision...though IMO that`d be bad enough.

Eh, I question whether Trump is *really* as successful as he says he is. But even if he *is* a successful businessman, running his business and being POTUS are utterly different jobs calling for different skill sets and knowledge bases. Not saying the same person couldn`t be great at both, but I wouldn`t generalize the two as being directly comparable.



Hold it....So my being offended by (just to pick a few specifics)... a) Trump`s advocacy of torture and general approval of violence, b) his utter disregard for, and proposed plans to violate, the 1st Amendment (specifically on the topic of Religion), and c) his stated intention to start a Trade War....

My being offended by a Presidential Candidate for the above reasons makes *ME* a "Problem Person"?!? I`ve been "brainwashed" because I believe in following the US Constitution and in "doing unto others as I`d have them do unto me"? I`ve "made the conscious decision to turn the US into a 3rd World Socialist country" because I see downsides to starting a Trade War with some of the world`s largest economies?

A Problem Person...I`m not even being called a RiNO anymore, now I`m a "Problem Person". Well, The Donald has certainly expressed how he wants his followers to deal with Problem People, so thanks for the heads-up.

Being that we are on a detailing site... let`s show how this also effects most of us .. (and Poorboy`s)

a) a trade war will cause rising prices for those of you using products made in other countries .. US imports less...
b) a reversal of NAFTA will cause our Canadian friends (whose dollar is pretty low) to have more taxes on US goods .. US sells less goods
c) chemical companies using raw materials from other countries will raise prices for products made in America
d) Some of Poorboy`s products will no longer be made due to import tax
e) Poorboy exports to the rest of the world go down due to higher taxes in other countries
f) prices of microfiber will go way up .. buy your DMT`s now ..lol

Yes, it is too bad that a viable third party will not stand a chance even though Johnson did get over a million votes in 2012

Public racism and hate speech in his political campaign for starters.

Call any foreign friend residing outside of the US and ask them what they think of Trump (get an opinion from anyone who isn`t a republican or democrat). He`s the biggest joke in Canada since Rob Ford.

Please describe the "racism".

And as far as I know, he is running for President of the US and not anywhere "outside the US". But I could be mistaken, I think it has happened in the past, not frequently though.

I`ve never understood whats wrong with communism itself. There could easily be a democratic communism. What makes a republic so great by comparison?

I know has an 80`s kid I just systematically brainwashed/trained/told to hate the word communism before even understand what it implied and was repeatedly taught that America is a democracy when it`s not.

If you look, communism has brought nothing to better the people besides bring them misery. It doesn`t "raise" people up, it brings everybody lower.

So as an 80`s kid, did you ever read the Bill of Rights" or the US Constitution in school? Or just how we stole the land.

Yikes.

Stalin killed way more innocent people than Hitler. History has written Hitler as the ultimate evil - but compared to Stalin he was a saint. This is simply because The Allies needed Russia to win WWII. The enemy of the enemy is your friend.

Communism in a nut shell is the opposite of what it means to be an American. Nothing great comes out of communist state, and hardly anything good.

Like a zillion people died so America could have free enterprise, religion, speech, and private property. Most decent Americans cherish this and communism does not allow this.

The only thing good to come out of communism are cheap reliable weapons.

No of coarse not. I am referring to the "anyone but Trump crowd" who call him a racist or worse. Its perfectly reasonable to to disagree with his positions, his character or anything else.

Mark Cuban was on CNN this morning stating his differing opinions on Trump , he also said he would run as Trump`s VP. Weird eh?
 
I heard about the `tramps for trump` movement this morning. that cracked me up

almost as much as ANY of these previous debates

But if you do not vote you cannot have any say in what happens in the next term. Like most elections of the past years it is a decision of the lesser of 2 evils. I just watched Clinton talking about gun control and regulations need to be put on the 2nd Amendment. Now if you read/know what is in that Amendment it pretty much states it will not be touched. As with her former boss the Constitution means nothing to them and they will find ways around it. I find that very eery since they pledge to uphold the Constitution.

I hate to break it to you but even if I vote..i still have no say (and no I don`t want to discuss politics) EDIT- the illusion of the broader democratic process doesn`t do much for me...

I vote for my local offices and municipalities..but my vote for el prezidente or el prezidentette (haha) are essentially null

Dunno about now, but with the old voting machines if you didn`t vote for every spot the vote didn`t count.
