Trueisms

I won the global lottery last week. Just waiting for my prize.
Isn't it ironic that many of these prizes come from some of the least wealthy nations on the planet. If you haven't, take a look at the email addresses and where they originated. Many claim to represent the International Monetary Fund, I see quite a few come from former President Jonathan Goodluck in Africa. While Nigeria isn't among the poorest of countries apparently the Scammers don't think the rest of the world can read as they still call him president and indicate that he has authorized this give away..

After Mothers Day and my wife`s birthday fell on the same day this year I can tell you what the letter 7 does not smell like! Lol

There is some truth to this.

Bunky- I sure agree with you (and Foose) on that one! Used to be that even the most tender-handed white-collar guy could handle basic repairs/projects/"work with your hands"-stuff and learning to do so had all sorts of benefits beyond the actual skills themselves (mindset, confidence, mastery-of-environment, etc.). Growing up, I thought *everybody* had a basement full of tools/equipment...because everybody I knew *did*, including the guys who wore neckties at the kitchen table on Saturday.

IMO it filters down to the Car Hobby too- most guys I know, their version of the Hobby basically just involves paying other people to provide whatever they want. Heh heh, guess I shouldn`t knock that since the Pro Detailers here benefit from that mindset :o
