True professionalism...

I want to take the opportunity to publicly thank forum member resek for his true professionalism! There are some really good people here on Autopia, and he is clearly one of them.

He had contacted me from Canada a while back asking for some help and advice. He was new to detailing, wanted to start off the right way with the proper products and tools, and I gladly helped him out. I received help and advice from other senior members when I was starting out (Thanks Rickrack!), and was more than happy to pay that forward to resek.

Today I went to check the mail, and found a package from Canada. When I opened it up, there was a Christmas present along with a very nice note from resek thanking me for all of my help along way.

It gives us all something to think about as we post information, and ask help from others here on Autopia. There are true professionals here, both looking for information and sharing information. Regardless of which side(s) we're on, we should respect those that we are asking information from as well as those we are providing information to. We are very fortunate to have such a forum that we can all learn from to help us all become better at what we do.

Thank you resek for the nice Christmas gift, and thanks to those who have helped me in the past as well.

Sincerely,

Todd Cooperider

awesome, glad to see a community of people with the same love sticking together to help each other. i know i've read so many articles and i still have SSSOOOOO far to go, but the reason i've made a huge progress in just a year is thanks to the publically shared information posted on sites like this.
