True or False Rubbing alcohol after wax??

Hey all, somebody was telling me the best results after a wax comes when you spray Rubbing alcohol mixed with water lightly on the car and dry with a soft towel. True??? Not gonna try unitil I get some feedback. Thanks people.
 
I'll do that after I polish/buff the car, and before I apply wax. It helps remove any filler left over from the polishing compound, this allows you to see what scratches/swirls are still left.
 
So this would let u remove t-cut for instance??



What is the stuff and where do i get it. Thanks.
 
If you're refering to the isopropyl alcohol, any Walmart or pharmacy will have it, 70% or 91% doesn't matter that much, if you get the 91%, just mix more water with it than the 70% when you are making your alcohol/water solution
 
I have always used IP Alcohol as an "everything" remover Ñ bugs, tar, sap, wax, pesky inlaws. It is water soluable and evaporates completely to fine white streaks. It will not hurt paint, metal, etc. but requires to have those areas where applied treated with something for protection. I usually dilute with water to assist in the loosening process before I wipe off.
 
Thats the thing lowejackson its the one with the chipstick and all my sonus pads especially the polish and cuttin pad were red by the end of the detail.



So i was looking of a way to removed that stuff.
