Trouble with Jet Black

So guys this is my second full detail on my Jet Black 335i. The first go around I used SSR2.5/Orange Pad and followed that up with SSR1/White Pad. It produced great results. Well, this time I heard great reviews on the M105/M205 combo so I purchased that. I used M105/Orange Pad/White Pad and M205/White Pad/Gray Pad. For some reason I just couldn't get the results I wanted. After finishing the car with these combos, the car had many holograms and even has specks all over it like it had metallic in it. The specks were all over the car, and I'm not sure if they were induced from the pad or if they are due to normal driving (the car has 47k on it). I didn't take any pictures but I don't know what I can do to fix everything. I brought the car over to the dealer tonight to fix something non related. Once I get it back I can take some pics. Anyone ever see anything like this?

Thanks,

Mike

White is a little too aggressive to finish off BMW jet butter black. You may need a grey or even blue pad.

Where should I go from here? I did the M105/M205, then applied jetseal, and 2 coats of Dodo Juice. Do I need to start all over again? Wash the car in dawn, and go over the whole car one more time?

I would start over again. You should always stop and check your work in direct sun light or with really bright lights if you live in cloudville after 205. You never want to seal in holograms with sealant, like you did. Now you need to strip it and start over.

I would try going over it with SSR1/white, then SSR1/gray. Use speed 6 on the first step, speed 5 on the second step. This should clear up the micro-marring from M205. Jet Black is by far the softest paint I've ever encountered, so you need an ultra-fine finishing step. You might want to look into picking up some Menzerna PO85RD or 3M Ultrafina.
