TRIPLE THREAT, Todays detail PICS NO 56K

EBPcivicsi

GOT PREP?
Today I detailed another car for the owner of the van that I did last weekend. This truck is a work truck, a child mobile, and a dog chauffer. The interior was a complete mess with spills everywhere, mud, dog hair, cany, you name it. I vac’ed, cleaned everything with an APC ( I had TOL’s enzyme powder in it) , then extraxted the carpets with my LGCM

The exterior had not been washed in ages. I sometimes prefer them this way because even though the paint is dirty, it is usually not as badly swirled as someone who takes it through the swirl-o- matic. I was detailing in full sun so I broke out the PWC and topped with EX-P. PWC via PC with a meguiars polishing pad and then EX-P by hand. I used #40 cut 50/50 in the wheel wells and dressed the tires with a high gloss solvent based dressing that I buy locally. I then used sprayway glass cleaner on all interior and exterior glass. HT bumper and molding renew on all trim. This job took me about 5.5 hours.

Thanks Woob, LGCM= Little Green Clean Machine.

I love #40 in the wheel wells, definitely cut it though.

I charged $275, but I got $300 with the tip! :drunk

#40 is a waterbased dressing by meguiars. I cut it 50/50 with water and use it to dress wheel wells and motors. I use it full strength on interiors and tires.

I usually just use hot water in my LGCM. I spray the chemical into the carpet, scrub with brush, then allow it to sit for a few minutes, then I come back and shoot the water into it and extract.

Thanks everyone!

Zest, I guess you have to do what you can when you are in Memphis. Making people think of Hawaii is a bonus around here! :)

Nice work.
I thought I was the only one geting the piles of crap around here. I had a car like that every day this week. :hurl

Holy shi_ !

That is amazing work...you never cease to amaze me!

How do you like the little green steam machine? Does it work like a mini extractor? What dilution of APC do you use?

That is plain discusting I dont see how people live like that.. It might be dirty but that is just filthy makes you wonder how their house is inside. :(

Anyway back to the point awsome job car is a total transformation, What did you use on the wheels. ?

Thanks man, I really appreciate it!

I used costco APC 10/1 with the HT powder. The costco APC is awesome and is < $5 for 1.25 gallons!!!!!!

The LGCM is OK, but is certainly not a professional tool. If I get any busier I am going to buy a real extractor. I did carpets for years with just an APC, a brush, and a terry cloth towel so the LGCM @$39 was a step up for me. :)

Frozen, I know what you mean, the truck was foul!! I used acid on the wheels along with an EZ detail brush.

Thanks again everyone!

Well that was pretty disgusting........you did a great job in bringing it back! Great detail work and very thorough.

Anthony

Great job EB. It shows someone that cares worked on it, but I think you missed a spot. Just kidding , but Let's see how long he looks for it...... :hah
